Those builds.... were the only part I didn't like.
I liked the other 95%. :D
I don't know, this is pretty good man!
Note: The melody is waay recognizable, so, you'll be just fine, I wouldn't DQ you, and I'm sure Zophar wouldn't either!

I really like this.
I think the kick at the beginning was too dry. (My entry was accused of the same, so, you're not alone haha).
Aside from that, I really like the song!
The bass fits in well, the guitar is excellent, and you killed it with the vocals!

Yeah, you are right! I actually think the whole song could use more "dampening" jaja but I am working on a whole album right now so I did what I could in one day :). I'll give it a full remastering when I get time though. Thanks!

Okay, I know you don't just want a 2star review from somebody without an explanation.
Here we go...

00:00 - 00:26:
I like it, but there is way to much reverb/sustain on all of the instruments. It is also lacking in low end, and has way too much mid, which combining the mid-heavy chords, and the sustain/rev, distorts easily. But I do like the melody.

00:27 - 00:40:
Transition took too long, and I can hear that it was probably made with a default preset.
Maybe cut that down to 3-5 seconds, instead of 13, because it is too long.

00:40 - 00:41:
I love that drumroll.

00:41 - 01:23:
This is just white noise, with the cutoff frequency rapidly automated. I This is terrible.
Then there's that 1 high note that you play over and over again.
If you would have done a little, just a little of this, mixed in with other instruments, sort of like instead of using growls you use the white noise, with the freq. automated.

01:24 - 02:12:
Again, I like the melody, however, the piano type instrument you're using has way way too much reverb/sustain, and so, that gets distorted easily, as it's all mid-range frequencies.

02:13 - 02:40:
Again, the white noise. This differed none whatsoever from the first time, and was just as bad.
It really could have used a little bit of changing, as it is practically a direct copy.

02:40 - 02:56:
Out of key, and not matching the rest of the song.

There were parts I really liked about it, and then there were parts that totally ruined the experience for me.
Work on your mastering, and mixing.
This could easily be a 5 star track with some of both!

This is Ambient, not trance.
If you would have uploaded in the "Ambient" category, you'd get 5*!
But, I'm rating it based upon what it is advertised as. You have it advertised as trance, and thusly it failed my hopes.

That intro.... 2 and a half minutes... that's really long. And if you have something that long, it's bound to get repetitive. I will say that you did manage to have it *not* be super repetitive, and I'll give you brownie points there. That being said, we're talking about a 2 and a half minute intro... that's really pushing it.
If we started the song at 2:00 I would be a lot more likely to give this 5 stars.
Now, I know you wanted the lax feel, and you did execute it well. I'm not criticizing your taste. Well done.
Starting at 2:52, that begins my favorite part. Unfortunately, this is such a small portion of the song as a whole.
I wish that that part *would you call it the chorus?* was longer, I'd give it a 11/10, as it's truly amazing!
The buildup was great. it is my second favorite part of the song. Though I do feel that a few notes were off.
I wouldn't mind if you checked out my entry, and gave me a review even half as detailed as this one. ^^
To summarize:
Nice job!
Take the intro down a minute and a half, extend the chorus by 45 seconds, and this is easily one of my favourite tracks!

[TouHou Hardstyle - Bad Apple]

I'm a huge fan of Bad Apple, so, when I saw this, I instantly voted 5*, because I was sure it would be good.
This is nothing. Let me repeat. NOTHING even close to comparable to the original song.
I'm really disappointed in this, tbh. It is false advertising, to get views.
Don't get me wrong, I did like the song.... BUT IT'S NOT BAD APPLE, NOR ANY FORM OF IT!
